On average, Density units will pull anywhere from 15-20 watts of powering during normal operating mode. Every few milliseconds as the IR is emitting, those spikes can surpass 24w. If the port providing power to our device isn’t capable of providing up to 30w, the unit will power cycle. After 5 reboots, the device will enter a low power mode until physically power cycled by removing the cat6 cable and plugging back in.
